The challenge
VONQ supports Amega in filling their vacancies
With a broad mix of media channels, Amega has increased visibility and receives significantly more applications.
Amega has been working with VONQ since 2014. Before that, most of their vacancies were advertised in newspapers and brought to the attention via schools. Over the past ten years, recruitment has shifted significantly from offline to online.
As a result, it became more difficult for Amega to attract technical talent through traditional print ads. Due to this digital shift in recruitment, Amega’s visibility among their target audiences decreased, resulting in fewer applications.
“It was becoming increasingly difficult to recruit technical staff.”
“During our monthly meetings with VONQ, we discuss campaign results, new developments, and which channels to try next. It gives us clear insight into how much time and money it takes to hire a new colleague.”
Sophie van Alten, HR Advisor at Amega
The solution
From offline recruiting to data-driven campaigns with VONQ’s Job Marketing Platform.
At VONQ, we empower employers to promote their vacancies across a wide variety of channels, including job boards, niche platforms, social media, and search engines.
This was a key reason Amega chose to partner with VONQ. By diversifying their media mix, Amega improved brand awareness and boosted applicant response. Through VONQ’s Job Marketing Platform, Amega can easily set up campaigns themselves and gain insight into which channels are most effective.
And of course, their dedicated Customer Success Manager is always available for strategic advice, whether it’s optimizing job ads or improving the candidate journey.
“We’re now using channels we didn’t know about, or were hesitant to try. Luckily, we can always count on VONQ for advice and tips.”
Always the best media advice
With our data-driven Job Marketing Platform, Amega receives real-time, optimized campaign advice, anytime, anywhere. They can launch campaigns quickly and independently, saving them time and effort. Our platform is continuously evolving, with new, relevant channels and innovations added regularly to improve usability and results.
Campaign monitoring
With our Analytics Dashboard, Amega can monitor the real-time performance of all their active campaigns, right up to completed applications. Additionally, we meet monthly with Amega’s HR and Marketing teams to review campaign results: What’s working well? What could be improved? Where should we shift focus? Our shared goal: maximum campaign success.
The results
Thanks to the variety of channels used in their campaigns, Amega enjoys strong, widespread visibility. In 2024, 38.5% of all applicants came through our campaigns—a fantastic result, especially considering that not all of Amega’s vacancies are published through VONQ.
Direct applications also increased, indicating that the campaigns helped strengthen overall employer awareness.
With our real-time dashboard, Amega is now able to track every step of the hiring process—from first impression to final application—offering them deeper insights and more control over their recruitment strategy.
“Working with VONQ is a pleasure. They think along with us and offer practical advice we can really use. They’re genuinely invested in how we at Amega approach recruitment. I only see our partnership growing stronger in the future.”
